It will help us to maintain your account and alert you to new products, special offers and services, which are suited to you as they become available. Protection and Security of Information
We protect the privacy of your information using highly secure, password-protected servers. The online and offline security measures we adopt protect information we have against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data, and against accidental loss or destruction of or damage to personal data.
Any credit card or personally identifying information divulged to CMYUK via our website will be stored on secure servers and not released to any other party without your explicit written authorisation.
Pages on our website that request payment information are protected using SSL (Secure Socket Layer - see below) security, which encrypts any data transmitted. Once you enter a credit/charge card number, we will never display the entire card number if the page is recalled after you have submitted it. This also covers the use of the "Back" button on your browser. The inner digits will always be displayed as asterisks, protecting your card number from other users of your computer or anyone who happens to see the screen.
Website Tracking
Like most websites, we use cookies (see below) and other internal tracking methods to track the way our website is used by our customers so we understand better how to make the service faster and more user friendly. The information we gather is analysed where we feel that the data we collect will help to enhance your purchasing experience.
Sharing Information
We do not share personally identifiable data with any other companies except as provided in this policy or permitted by law. We may provide such aggregate statistics about our sales, traffic patterns, and related website information to trustworthy third parties, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. In order to provide you with a service, fulfill a transaction you have requested or in connection with legal process, we may share personally identifiable data with our agents (such as credit card processing companies, credit reference agencies, outside suppliers, distributors and delivery companies), and group companies for such purpose, relevant authorities or otherwise with your permission. Where appropriate, we share user experience information or other customer level personally identifiable information with companies within our group as well as our trusted third parties, agents and business partners for the purpose of accomplishing our objectives of customer personalisation and improvement of site design and user experience.
Security Training
We train our employees on the importance of personal data, security and confidentiality of information obtained, and have appropriate procedures in place. Our Technology Officer is responsible for security of information and personal data. We control physical security in relation to the information and personal data that is contained at our facilities and restrict access to the computer rooms, technology areas, equipment and other areas where unauthorised access by people could compromise security. We seek to control access to the information and personal data, including existing procedures for authorising and authenticating users as well as software controls for restricting access and techniques for protecting data such as encryption. We monitor and log systems access to enable us to detect and investigate any security breach, or attempted breach.

The foregoing policies are effective for the CMYUK websites. By using our site, you agree to the terms of this policy. CMYUK reserves the right to change this policy from time to time and will update this page accordingly. By using this site you agree to be bound by any such revisions in effect at the time of use and should therefore periodically visit this page and the site 'Terms and Conditions' page to determine the current policies applicable to users of the site. The policies and terms described above are not intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party. What Are Cookies?
Cookies assign a unique identification to your computer and store the details on your hard drive via a facility in your web browser. The cookie does not contain any personally identifying information but does permit our website to recognise you each time you return to the CMYUK website. The cookies sent by your computer 'handshakes' with our system, which identifies you and makes it faster for you to log in. If you do not want to use cookies, most Internet browser programs will permit you to turn them off. Should you do this, you will still be able to access our website as normal.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protection
The purchase area of our website is secure. We use industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt sensitive information such as your name, address and credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the event that someone else intercepts it.
Additionally, the CMYUK fulfillment system is not connected to the Internet and is not accessible in any way, which keeps your information secure once it reaches us.
Non-encrypted Server
Some browsers may experience problems with SSL enabled websites. If you are experiencing problems using our online shopping and account facilities under SSL protection, our non-encrypted server is available. Please note that the non-encrypted server does not encrypt your credit/charge card information when transmitted. If you have any queries about this protection please email our Customer Services Team at sales at cmyuk dot com
Security
The information on these pages about us and our product catalogue is available over the public Internet for all to view. However, any information you provide to us when setting up your account can only be viewed by yourself and us. Having opened an account you will be forced to log-in to this site each and every time you wish to either buy goods or to manage your account.
Using industry leading and proven technologies the User Name and Password you enter will be compared with the encrypted information held within our database of registered customers. Should you enter the wrong User Name or Password we're afraid that the system simply will not let you in. Further, the system monitors and records all actions by those users that have logged in, thus you can rest assured that any actions on your account can only happen once someone has logged in and can be reported back to you.
We strongly advise you to guard your User Name and Password as well as you would guard the PIN number to your cashpoint card and we reserve the right to assume that all actions carried out and all orders placed by someone who has logged in are legitimate.
For those shoppers who pay by credit card we have teamed up with one of the UK's leading and most secure payment service providers. Approved by the leading UK banks and APACS, we use 128bit encryption for all credit card transactions.
