Ball Screw Mechanism: Mechanical Structure for High-Precision Printing
Ball screws located on both sides of the print table (X-axis) stabilise table drive during printing and help produce high-quality prints.
Ball screws are also used on the Z-axis to achieve a table load capacity of 30 kg (66 lb), allowing the use of heavy materials and high-precision jigs for industrial applications.
High Productivity: Max. 8.0 m²/h*
An array of eight staggered printheads achieves top-level productivity in its product category.
The printable area is 710 × 510 mm (28 × 20 in), enabling printing of sizes up to 636 × 469 mm (25 × 18.5 in), which is often used for screen printing.
*Print conditions: 4C + 4C, 600 × 600 dpi; 6 Pass
Optional 8-Head/Staggered Arrangements
With an 8-head arrangement, you can select either 6 + 2 stagger (6C + 2SP) or 4 + 4 stagger (4C + 4C / 4SP).
| Head arrangement | Colour set | Features |

*Head configuration is selectable at the time of installation, and later modification is also possible. Our service personnel perform such modifications.
Mimaki Technology for Stable Operation: Auto Maintenance Function to Minimise Downtime
NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) & NRS (Nozzle Recovery System)
Ink Circulation Mechanism Inside the Head
Every head is equipped with an ink circulation mechanism that prevents pigment precipitation and removes bubbles from the ink (bubbles cause missing dots), which stabilises printing and reduces the frequency of required cleaning and the running costs associated with cleaning.
2.5D Embossed Printing: Up to 5 mm (0.2") Thick
The conventional 2.5D Texture Maker now features an Emboss Mode, capable of printing up to 5 mm (0.2") in thickness. Add value and creativity to your designs.
LD3 Mode: Up to 10 mm (0.4") Height Differences
Height Difference Printing: LD Mode (Long Distance Mode)
LD Mode is a printing mode that enables optimal printing even when the material surface has height differences.
The UJF-7151 plusII e supports LD3 Mode, capable of printing at distances of up to 10 mm (0.4")* from the print head to the printing surface.
*Includes 1.5 mm head gap
High-Speed Primer Function: Achieves Approx. 3.7× the Previous Speed
The speed of primer printing, which enhances ink adhesion, has increased to approximately 3.7 times the previous rate, significantly boosting productivity.
Automatic Coating with Inkjet Primer
It is an inkjet primer that improves the adhesion of materials such as resin, glass, metal and those surface-finished.
Expanding the range of material selection, high value added applications can be produced.
As the primer, PR-200 is applied simultaneously with color printing, the PR-200 applying only to the necessary part of material is possible, too.
Therefore the texture of the base material that was lost by conventional manual primer applying can be maintained.
Patent number: JPN 5817059 / USA US9,132,685 B2
Ink Saving Function: Reduce Ink Consumption with Just Two Clicks
With just two clicks, the "Ink Saving Function" reduces running costs. It saves up to approx. 42% in ink consumption while maintaining natural color tones.
Highly Functional Inks Realise a Variety of Expressive Effects
White
Printing with high-concentration white ink as the basic color on transparent or deep-color media makes full-color images more vivid.
Clear
It is a clear ink that can give an additional value such as both gloss and matte tones, texture expression according to the application. UJF-7151 plusII e mounting system for clear print control, " MCC (Mimaki Clear Control)" allows the minimization of uncured time to prevent dust from sticking and to avoid bubble generating. It provides high-grade glossy representation and expressive embossing feeling with highly-concentrated clear to lead a fine and beautiful texture print.
Metallic
The MMC (Mimaki Metallic Control) system is dedicated to metallic printing using Mimaki’s unique Surface Imaging Technology. MMC printing separately applies one type of metallic ink in gloss and matte tones.
Using separately the beautiful glossy tone print like mirror finish and the matte tone print of metallic texture with suppressed gloss feeling will expand the range of expressions. Texture expression with embossing effect can be printed by changing the inkjet concentration. The texture expression whose appearance changes according to the light reflection provides a higher level of performance appeal. Color metallic expression is possible by printing with colored ink on top of metallic ink. By combining the application of metallic, color and color metallic, high-quality design print can be available.
Connected Digital Printing
Supports MDL (Mimaki Device Language) commands to automate the printing process.
Mimaki offers command sets to enable customer production systems and peripheral devices to control our printers. Through applying these commands, the position and height of the media setting table, the start of printing, and other printer operations can be controlled. It also allows for the acquisition of remaining ink level and error information from the printer.
Regarding the MDL command, customers are able to build systems optimized to their individual applications by developing the necessary software using technical information (SDK) provided from Mimaki. The system will contribute to automation and labor saving in customers business.

*ELH-100 and ELS-120 are SVHC-free inks. SVHC-free ink is ink that does not contain SVHC and CMR, chemical substances that are considered to pose extremely high concerns for human health and the environment.
Inks would not be cured when printing speed is faster than that of draft mode.
- Some of the screens and printing samples in this website are artificial renderings.

- Inkjet printers print using extremely fine dots, thus colors may vary slightly following replacement of the printing heads. Also note that if using multiple printer units, colors may vary slightly among the units due to slight individual differences among the units.
Precautions for UV printing
Inks and substrates:
- Please note that properties and adhesion, weather resistance etc. of ink and substrates can vary. Therefore please test materials before printing.
- Some substrates require primer before printing. Please test materials beforehand or ask your sales representative.
Safety notice:
You are dealing with UV light sources that may harm your health. Please follow below guidelines strictly:
- Do not look directly into the UV light source nor place your hand, or expose your skin directly to the UV light source.
- Depending upon print mode, there might occur some VOC emittance from printed parts not yet cured and hardened.
- In addition, please read the instructions and guidelines of the manual carefully and follow those.
