Increased productivity with 330% high print speeds
The new JFX600-2513 is up to 330% faster than its predecessor, the Mimaki JFX500-2131. This is due to the increased number of printheads in the new flatbed which now stands at 16. This great leap forward in productivity enables the quickest turnaround of digital wide format prints. This is Mimaki’s latest seventh generation UV flatbed printer and it is available for live demonstration at CMYUK’s showroom in Shrewsbury.
Six colour inks including Lights for rich and vibrant reproduction
The JFX600-2513 offers 6-colours including Lc and Lm that accentuate output vibrancy. This flatbed printer offers users a choice of UV inks suitable for numerous applications. Inks are all GREENGUARD GOLD certified and meet the stringent VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emission requirements set by UL, a US-based external safety science organisation, and recognised for environmental safety.

High scratch/chemical resistance with accurate colour reproduction. This ink is suitable for rigid materials. | After curing, this ink has the ability to stretch up to 170%. The ink film is very flexible and will not crack during post print processes. | Compatible with a wide range of materials and a low degree of tackiness. It offers 150% stretch after curing, and again, will not crack during post print processes. |
*1 Stretchability of each stretchable ink may vary depending on materials, please test on actual materials in advance.
*2 Compatible primer: PR-200
*3 Compatible clear ink (Cl): LH-100 ink (Clear), Compatible primer: PR-200
New Graphical user interface for MPC (Mimaki Printer Controller)
New software has been developed to control the touch screen monitor that is connected to the JFX600-2513 UV flatbed printer. Operations are depicted graphically on the MPC screen and include print condition settings, work/printer status checking, work history, and maintenance instructions.
Easy to use flatbed: bed size & vacuum table, handles media up to 60mm
Table size & Vacuum table
With a table size of 2,500 × 1,300 mm, this flatbed easily accommodates commonly used 4’x8’ (1,220mm x 2.440mm) media and board. The vacuum area that securely holds the media whilst it is being printed is divided into two sections in the X direction and adjusts to different media sizes by opening/closing valves. In addition to the operation panel, a foot switch can be used to turn the vacuum On and OFF.
*1,220mm×2,440mm
Handling materials and media up to 60mm thick
The JFX600-2513 enables direct printing onto substrates up to 60mm thick, enabling businesses to expand their material solutions and application offerings. You can also print on standard 50 mm thickness channel boards such as aluminium composite and PVC, laminate front and back to a thickness of 52-53mm.
Seventh generation UV Mimaki technology
- Waveform control: Mimaki's unique advanced ink droplet ejection enables the accurate placement of high circular droplets to media ensuring sharp text, ruled lines and edges.
- MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4): Banding (horizontal stripes), uneven colour, and glossy streaks can be reduced to achieve smooth prints by printing pass boundaries fading in gradation.
- Variable dots: Three different ink dot sizes are used to output high-quality prints with reduced graininess.
Functionality for stable and reliable operation
The NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) automatically detects nozzle status, and when it detects a missing nozzle, it performs a clean. If this doesn’t solve the problem, the NRS (Nozzle Recovery System) automatically replaces the defective nozzles with non-defective ones, allowing users to continue operations without waiting for an engineer.
Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) minimises downtime*
The ink tank and ink path include a flow mechanism that periodically circulates white ink to prevent nozzle blockages from ink pigment deposits. Not only does this stabilise printing performance but reduces material and monetary wastage.
*MCT works only with white ink.
Ink layering adding greater value to prints
Mimaki’s 2.5D Texture Maker, a function of the bundled RasterLink 7 RIP, uses ink layering to offer embossed textures such as simulated woodgrain, oil painting on canvas, for realistic and highly impactful prints.
White and Clear Inks
The ability to lay down a high concentration of white ink as a base layer on transparent or strong coloured media ensures vivid imagery that pops.
Clear ink printing adds decorative effects such as matt, gloss, and texture for impactful displays.
Primer
PR-200 is a digital inkjet primer that significantly approves ink adhesion to materials such as resin, glass, metal and other surfaced finishes. By utilising this, Mimaki users have the opportunity to expand their range of chosen materials and produce truly unique high value applications.

Connected digital printing
Supports MDL (Mimaki Device Language) commands for printing automation
Through its MDL (Mimaki Device Language) Mimaki brings automation and labour-saving functionality to its printers. Through Command Sets customers can build systems that are fully optimised to individual applications by developing software using technical information (SDK) supplied by Mimaki. By applying these commands, actions such as the position and height of the media setting table, print start, and other operations can be automatically controlled.

Precautions for UV printing
Inks and substrates:
- Please note that properties and adhesion, weather resistance etc. of ink and substrates can vary. Therefore please test materials before printing.
- Some substrates require primer before printing. Please test materials beforehand or ask your sales representative.
Safety notice:
- You are dealing with UV light sources that may harm your health. Please follow below guidelines strictly:
- Do not look directly into the UV light source nor place your hand, or expose your skin directly to the UV light source.
- Depending upon print mode, there might occur some VOC emittance from printed parts not yet cured and hardened.
- In addition, please read the instructions and guidelines of the manual carefully and follow those.
