For our acoustic top seller - the sound-absorbing product AKUSTICO® - we are now optionally using the recycled polyester yarn Newlife™. This is 100% spun from post-consumer bottles and produced exclusively in northern Italy from the Sinterama Group. This is not only sustainable and environmentally friendly. The textile is just as robust, permanently inherent flame-retardant and of course retains all the familiar properties of the AKUSTICO®. This sound-absorbing textile makes an effective contribution to optimizing the room acoustics. It is ideally suited as upholstery fabric in the interior, for displays or pin boards, acoustic panels or acoustic pictures for wall mounting. Flame Protection: BS 5852 (Crib 5) B-s1,d0 – DIN EN 13501-1, NFPA 701. OEKO-TEX & REACH certified, only water-based coatings used. Abrasion resistance 25,000 tours and rub fastness grade 4-5 wet and dry. Anti-bacterial coating sanitized can be added POA (minimum 1500m per product)
