Based in Lincoln, Your Print Partner (YPP) provides a full range of print and graphic design services – from concept creation and graphic design through to printing, finishing and delivery. Their product range spans everything from flags, banners and street branding to POS displays and exhibition graphics. Their new paper printing division now also offers a full range of corporate stationery.
Investing in the latest state-of-the-art print and finishing machinery has been key to YPP since the company was founded and having all of its operations housed under one roof has given them better quality control and market-leading turnaround times.
During the most recent Print Show, representatives from YPP visited the CMYUK stand, where the latest, most sought-after, wide-format printers and cutters were being showcased, including the Kongsberg C64.
The Kongsberg C64 cutter exceeds all previous standards in speed,
versatility, precision and productivity and runs at 100m/min –
the 3KW router comes as standard.
Stuart Maclaren, Managing Director at Your Print Partner, says of the machine, “It was great to see the smaller cutter in action at The Print Show. Having visited other machine suppliers and being quite impressed with what was available, when I started looking into the Kongsberg I realised it was more cost-effective with a better speed – the perfect match for our requirements. We are starting by using it for our PVC and ridge board side of the business and will then be using it to cut the fabrics too. We have had the machine for less than 10 days and it has already helped to speed up production; we can now turn roller banners from artwork to dispatch in less than 12 minutes which will help massively as this side of our business grows.”
