A year of investment – finer finishes, vibrant colours and eco-friendly too!
Bespoke signage, exhibition and print specialists, Harrisons Signs, have invested £90,000 on a new wide-format printer as part of their ongoing strategy for growth. The EFI Pro 16h LED Wide Format Inkjet Printer is the latest addition to the firm’s impressive signage, print and production facility based in York.
As well as the usual four colours, the Pro 16h LED has the capacity to produce white ink prints and can manage an extensive range of flexible and rigid substrates including fabric, wood, acrylic and glass – offering exciting opportunities for unique creativity. One of the key selling points to Harrisons was the low energy consumption and reduced waste. The Pro 16h LEDs are guaranteed for five years and provide a much greener print solution.
At the start of the year, the family-run business also invested in a new CNC Flatbed Router, able to house 17 different cutting tools and resulting in perfectly clean edges every time, using a wide range of materials, from acrylics to stainless steel.

Investing in both pieces of machinery has really moved us forward as a company.”
