Trainee wide format engineer/operator

Full-time, training on the job, based in Shrewsbury

CMYUK is the UK’s largest supplier of production equipment and roll-to-roll material for the wide-format digital printing industry. We represent leading global manufacturers, many exclusively, offering the best tools across all digital printing technologies and applications. Our demonstration and training centre in Shrewsbury is a focal point for pre-and post-sales customers. It is a unique industry resource that offers bespoke demonstrations, technical training, equipment evaluations, materials testing, and product previews.

Service and support represent our greatest continual investment and are strongly aligned to our customer service ethos. We are responsible for all operator and application training and ensure that all our customers optimise all features of the kit they have purchased. We only use our own dedicated in-house engineers and never contract out to third parties.

We are looking for a trainee wide format production engineer/operator committed to delivering extraordinary quality and customer service.

This is a unique role that encompasses both equipment servicing and showroom demonstration skills. You will be working alongside senior engineers and equipment specialists to develop a thorough understanding of the global technology brands within our portfolio, as well as interfacing with customers.

You will be visiting customer sites in addition to working from CMYUK’s demonstration and training facility in Shrewsbury. A full driving licence is necessary.
