DECAL is a focussed range of self-adhesive monomeric and polymeric printable films, paired with high-performance laminates to help you achieve reliable, consistent results from print through to installation.
Developed for events and exhibitions, retail, automotive and fleet, commercial and residential interiors, and out-of-home advertising, the range combines versatile performance with practical features designed to support faster production and simplify application.
DECAL is centred on material versatility, with individual products engineered to perform across multiple applications. This multi-purpose approach helps simplify product selection, ordering, and inventory management while reducing reliance on application-specific materials.
Beneficial innovation
Bubble-free technology helps to reduce the risk of trapped air, bubbles, and wrinkles for a smooth and flawless application across small or large surface areas.
High tack UV adhesive combines powerful staying power with solvent-free formulation.
Dot matrix adhesive keeps up the pace of short-term campaigns. The pattern of adhesive dots generates channels that allow airflow to the end of the vinyl, eliminating anomalies caused by trapped air.
Double-sided PE liner prevents ripples and curls during printing, ensuring a continuous workflow without wasted material. Furthermore, it protects print heads against damage caused by any irregularities in the material.
The DECAL Overlaminate series adds durable protection against scratches, abrasion, humidity, and UV exposure, while maintaining sharp, vibrant print quality. Compatible with eco-solvent, UV and Latex print technologies, it features solvent-free adhesives, with no milky or silvering effects, it presents a flawless professional finish.
Manufacturing and resource efficiency
The manufacture of DECAL films and laminates is designed to minimise environmental impact. All raw materials are sourced from European suppliers, helping to shorten supply chains.
Approximately 85% of the electricity used in DECAL’s day-to-day manufacturing operations is generated by on-site photovoltaic panels, while production equipment is continuously monitored to optimise energy efficiency. Standardised production formats maximise raw material utilisation, supported by advanced grammage vision and quality control systems that minimise manufacturing waste. In addition, around 70% of wastewater is treated through the company’s on-site treatment facility, operational since 2019.
Packaging components, including cardboard elements, are made from recycling materials whenever possible. These measures are supported by certifications and regulatory standards recognised by EcoVadis, FSC, ISEGA, REACH, RoHs (chemical control) and FDA, among others, reflecting a manufacturing process focused on efficiency and responsible resource use.
